This Privacy Policy explains how spaindriving.com ("Study for Spain's Driver's License Exam", the "Website") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit the Website, sign up for our newsletter, contact us, or purchase a subscription. We are committed to processing your data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data-protection law.

Depending on how you use the Website, we may collect:

  • Account & purchase data: name, email address, billing details and subscription/order history when you create an account or buy a plan.
  • Payment data: processed securely by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Newsletter data: the email address you provide when subscribing.
  • Contact / feedback data: the name, email and message you submit through our forms.
  • Usage & technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and similar analytics data collected via cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

We use your data for the following purposes, each with its legal basis under Article 6 GDPR:

  • Providing your account, subscription and access to study materials: performance of a contract.
  • Processing payments and preventing fraud: contract / legal obligation.
  • Responding to your enquiries and feedback: legitimate interest / consent.
  • Sending newsletters and study reminders: consent (you may withdraw at any time).
  • Improving the Website and analytics: legitimate interest / consent for non-essential cookies.
  • Meeting tax and accounting obligations: legal obligation.

We share data only as needed to run the Website, with providers acting on our instructions, including:

  • Squarespace: website hosting, e-commerce and form handling.
  • Payment processors (e.g. Stripe and/or PayPal): to process subscription payments.
  • Email / newsletter provider: to deliver communications you have signed up for.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your personal data.

We keep your data only as long as necessary: account and subscription data for the duration of your relationship with us and as required for tax/accounting purposes afterwards; newsletter data until you unsubscribe; and contact-form data for as long as needed to handle your request.

This service is intended for users preparing for the Class B driving licence, which requires applicants to be 18 years old. You must be at least 17 years old to use this service; it is not directed to anyone under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 17.
